Biography

submitted by the candidate or their team
I live on the farm, homesteaded by my grandfather in the Kipling / Windthorst area. I owned an earth moving business from 1980 -1995. I owned a computer store that repaired and sold PCs, 1995 to 2008 and retired from operating heavy equipment and a National Safety Officer 2018.

Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
I am the protest candidate looking for disgruntled Conservatives, NDP supporters that want to protest supporting the Trudeau Gov. and Liberal supporters that don't like the way their party has treated our area.

I worked for the Conservative party as a member of the board of directors since the party was formed. I served as EDA President, Chair of the Policy and the Constitution Committees for many years and I was a Voting Delegate to every Policy Convention since the party was formed. I always fought for the Grass Roots principles of the party.

Last year the Conservative party abandoned their grass roots principles and parachuted in a candidate from outside of the riding by a secretive nomination process that local candidate hopefuls and even our sitting MP were not aware of. There was no issue that required all of this, and no shortage of good local people that would have contested the nomination had they known there was one.

I believe the Conservative party parachuted in a candidate with promises of personal perks like chair of the Sask. Caucus and others, in exchange for access to the funds that the electors of Souris Moose Mountain had so generously donated to the EDA and that both of our MPs had been so frugal with. The Conservative seem to no longer value the opinions of electors in this riding and see us as dough boys to provide money.

I had to leave the conservative party in protest and have found a new home with the brand new Canadian Future Party. We are new and not fully set up before this election was called. Shortly after the election we will be setting up the EDA Board of Directors and Committees. The board and committees will decide what this EDA will stand for. Electors from all backgrounds will be welcome to join and build a brand new party that represents us to Ottawa.
