Brenda Walsh is your NDP candidate for Cape Spear.
Brenda worked for Service Canada for almost 30 years, helping people file for pensions and employment insurance. She has dedicated her career to community outreach and organized labour.
She was the local executive for her union and the representative with the Oakville District Labour Council.
Her work with organized labour women’s committees won her the Halton Woman of the Year in 2006.
As a person with a disability (she uses a power wheelchair to get around) she has experienced the limitations of public transit and would fight to fix them for people in the community.
The number one reason she is running in this election is to bring more awareness to Ottawa on behalf of people living with disabilities.
As your MP, she will fight for families, workers, and students in Cape Spear, so everyone can have an affordable life.
